TagReader::get_compilation(): invalid literal for int() with base 10: '1\x00'

When I try to scan my collection (over 100 GB of files), nothing appears in the library and I see a lot of these errors:

[ERROR] 2024-05-23 10:13:25 TagReader::get_compilation(): invalid literal for int() with base 10: '1\x00'

Maybe it will eventually show my music, but there is no progress and the scan just seems stalled. Even the errors stop after a minute or so.

Running a version I just compiled using the AUR package.
